½ cup butter
3 ½ cups sifted confectioner’s sugar
Dash of salt
4 to 5 tablespoons strong, hot coffee
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter; add sugar gradually, stirring until well blended; add salt. Stir in liquid a little at a time, adding just enough to give it a good spreading consistency; beat until fluffy; add vanilla. Makes enough for tops and sides of 2 9-inch, 3 8-inch layers to dozen cupcakes.
