Spareribs
3 tbsp. shortening
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 & 1/4 c. pineapple juice
1 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. wine vinegar
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. pineapple chunks
1/2 c. green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ribs in shortening. Remove ribs and set aside. Add pineapple juice to meat drippings. Add cornstarch and water to thicken. Blend all ingredients except pineapple and green pepper. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Add pineapple and green pepper. Cook 5 minutes, add meat and simmer for 1 hour.
