3 slightly beaten eggs
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups milk (scalded – heat I microwave or on stove until it just comes to a boil)
½ tsp vanilla extract
Sprinkle of Nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
• Preheat oven to 325º
• In a large bowl, combine the eggs, sugar and salt.
• Slowly add the scalded milk, stirring all the time, and then the vanilla and nutmeg
• Pour into glass dish (Corning casserole).
• Using a larger, deeper pan, put about 1” of water in the bottom and then put the glass dish in the water.
• Bake at 325 for 30 -40 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
