4 c. Sugar
1 stick butter (1/2 c.)
1 large can carnation evaporated milk (not eagle brand)
1 pint marshmallow cream (8 oz)
1 12(oz) package chocolate chips (Nestles)
2 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Cook sugar, butter and milk to soft boil on high heat.
Test in a ramekin with cold water (I add an ice cube).
Should be able to pick up and roll into a ball.
Not crunchy edges, Not grainy.
Depends on the pan – my pan is about 7 minutes after a medium hard boil.
Don’t cook too long.

Take off heat, add rest of ingredients and beat/wooden spoon until well blended.
Pour into greased large baking pan, let set 3-4 hours to cool.
