2 sticks of butter or oleo
2 C sugar
4 eggs
3 C flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract
1 can cherry pie filling
Glaze
1 C powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2-3 T milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy
Add 1 egg at a time mixing well after each
add vanilla & almond extract
stir in 3 C flour
Spread 3/4 of the batter in greased or
parchment lined jelly roll pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1)
Spread cherry pie filling over this
Dab remaining batter over top of pie filling.
Bake 350 degrees 30-35 minutes
Make glaze by mixing powdered sugar, vanilla & milk to desired thickness
drizzle over cookie bars
