2 c cut rhubarb
2/3 c sugar
1 - 10 oz pkg frozen strawberries, thawed
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/3 c butter
1 egg
1/2 c sugar
3 TBSP milk
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Mix together rhubarb, strawberries and 2/3 c sugar. Place in the bottom of an 8x8 pan. Set aside. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Blend in butter. Set aside. Beat together egg, 1/2 c sugar, milk and vanilla until thick and ivory colored. Add to dry ingredients. Pour over the fruit. Bake 40 minutes.
