1 8 oz. pkg. lasagna noodles (cooked just to aldente)
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 can tomato sauce
1 onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (chopped fine)
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. basil
1 T. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. chili powder (reserved)
1/4 c. parmesan cheese (reserved)
4 oz. pkg. grated mozzarella cheese
1 16 oz. cottage cheese (dry curd)
1 16 oz. romano cheese

Preheat oven to 350ºF, butter 9" x13" pan
Brown meat & onion, add tomato soup & sauce, add all spices except chili powder, simmer over low heat 35-40 min. meanwhile cook noodles, cool. Carefully (so not to tear) place noodles in pan, next meat sauce, then each cheese, keep layering. Sprinkle chili powder & parmesan cheese, Parsley flakes if desired. Bake for 45 min. or till brown and bubbly.
