1/2 c. white sugar
3 T. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 c. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 3/4 c. milk
2 T. butter (room temperature)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
Directions:
In sauce pan stir together sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt. Place over medium heat and stir in milk. Bring mixture to boil, and cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Let cool a short time and serve warm or chill in refrigerator until serving.
