-1 refrigerator pie crust (from 15 oz. package) softened as directed on package
-4c. (4 medium, thinly sliced apples), peeled and cored
-3/4 c. English Toffee baking bits (not chocolate covered)
-2T. sugar
-2T. flour
-2 T. heavy whipping cream (can substitute fat free 1/2&1/2 but use 1 more T.)
-1tsp. sugar

-Preheat oven to 450 degrees
-Unfold pie crust and place on baker's parchment paper which has been spread out on a cookie sheet
-In a large bowl, combine apples, toffee bits, 2T. sugar, and 2T. flour, mix well
-Spoon apple mixture evenly onto crust within 2" of edge; fold edge over, pleating to fit
-Drizzle cream over apples
-Brush crust with water and sprinkle with 1 tsp. sugar
-Bake 20" and reduce heat to 350 degrees
-Bake 5-13" longer or until crust is a deep golden brown and apples are tender.
-Immediately run a spatula or pancake turner under crust to loosen. Serve warm. Keep leftovers in fridge
