1 C. Vegetable Oil
3 Eggs
1½ C. Sugar
2 C. Flour- sifted
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Allspice
1 C. Pecans-chopped
Raisins
1 C. Fig Preserves

Combine all ingredients. Pour into a greased Bundt pan and bake at 350º for 50-60 minutes or until done.
 

SAUCE

3/4 stick Butter
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda

Cook all ingredients in a saucepan and heat on medium-high to the soft ball (235º-240º) stage. Pour over baked cake while still very hot.
