4 1/2 tsp. white vinegar or fresh lemon juice
1 c. milk

Directions:
Place vinegar (lemon juice) in a glass measuring cup, add enough milk to make 1 c. total liquid. Stir to combine and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. (the mixture will begin to curdle).

This come in handy when you are making something needing buttermilk and you do not have any in the fridge. Makes 1 c. of buttermilk.
