Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Turkey/chicken or cubed beef
Broth
1 cup of Rice or Barley
Carrots
Turnip
Cabbage (optional - chopped fine)
Onion (optional)
1 14 oz can of tomatoe juice or can of finely chopped tomatoes

Keep bones from turkey/chicken and boil them for the broth for your soup. Use all the scraps and skin, etc... for flavour. Add salt and pepper to water and let bones simmer for a couple of hours. You can add chopped onion for flavour as they will boil away. Strain liquid and take out pieces of turkey/chicken and add to pot.

If you are using BEEF, cut, spice, and fry in pan until brown on all sides. Add beef and juice to broth in pot. BEEF or onion broth.

Directions:
