1 t baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk
1-1/2 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 stick butter
1/4 cup crisco
1 cup water
4 t cocoa
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1/4 t cinnamon
1 cup Pecans

Icing:
3/4 stick melted butter
1 box Powdered Sugar
4 T cocoa
1 t vanilla
6 T milk
Directions:
Directions:
Mix baking soda and buttermilk and set aside. In a bowl sift sugar and flour. In a pan, heat to boiling butter, crisco, water and cocoa. Pour and mix into flour/sugar. Let cool. Add eggs, buttermilk/soda, dash of salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and pecans. Pour into sprayed 13 x 9" cake pan. Bake at 325º for 30 minutes.

Icing: Mix ingredients together and pour over hot cake.
