3/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 cup (1/2 stick) Shortening
1-1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
3 T milk
1 T vanilla
1 egg
1-3/4 cups flour
3/4 t salt
3/4 t baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
1. Heat ove to 375º F.
2. Combine Peanut Butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk, and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended.
3. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto increased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in crisscross patter with tines of fork (dip in water to prevent dough sticking).
4. Bake at 375º for 7 to 8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove cookies to cooling rack or foil to cool completely.
