1 cup margarine
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup boiling water
3 cups flour
1 cup oatmeal
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve baking soda in boiling water. Combine ingredients in order given. Roll into balls. Make a dent in center and fill with jam. Bake at 400ºF for 8-10 minutes.
