2.5 - 3 lb chicken

Marinade:
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. water
1/4 c. Kosher salt



Breading:
1 c. AP flour
3/4 c. cornstarch
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Marinate chicken overnight. Remove chicken from brine more than 2 hours before frying. Rinse off and let drain.

1 hour before frying bread chicken. Let it sit in the breading and toss it a couple of time before frying.

Fry at 315-325º for 12 minutes if you are using a 2.5 lb. chicken and 14-16 minutes for a 3-3.25 lb. chicken.
