2 Tablespoons Cointreau
1/2 cup margarine or butter room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup cranberries
2/3 cup almonds

Directions:

Cream margarine and sugar
Beat in the water, Cointreau, baking powder and salt until blended
Add flour, cranberries, and nuts

On a greased baking sheet shape the dough into loaf 3/4 inch high and 3 inches wide.
Bake in 325º oven for 35 minutes
Let cool for 7 minutes, remove loaf from baking sheet and slice into 1/2 inch slices.
Place slices on cookie sheet, leaving space between slices
return to oven for 10 minutes or until slices are starting to turn golden
Cool and store in air tight container
