1 whole chicken
2 c. flour
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Salt
Pepper
1\2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken in a large pot and cover with water, salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender and meat falls off the bones. Remove chicken from broth to cool. Reserve the broth.
In a large bowl, mix flour, eggs, dash of salt and pepper. Add 1\2 c. milk. Mix together until a soft doughy consistency. ( If too thin add more flour; if too thick add more milk. Cover a flat areas with a sprinkling of flour and roll out dough half of the dough to 1\4 inch thick. Using a knife or pizza cutter, cut dough into strips about 1- 1 1\2 inch wide and long. Do the same on the other half of dough. Heat the reserved chicken broth to almost boiling. Add dumplings and cook, do not boil, in broth 15-20 minutes. Remove the chicken from the bones and drop in broth with dumplings. Heat all together. Enjoy!
