Ingredients:
Ingredients:
Bag of butterscotch chips - any size, the more you add the more you will
make. This can be modified by using chocolate chips instead, either milk
chocolate or semi-sweet chips. Or use both butterscotch and chocolate chips

Nuts - add whichever kind you like, peanuts, cashews, almonds, or mixed
nuts. You will want to purchase at least 1 to 2 cans or jars of nuts (2-4
cups).

Have 1-2 baking sheets handy.

Directions:
Directions:
Put the butterscotch chips in a saucepan. Put the saucepan inside another pan with water to make a double boiler. Turn on the stove and heat until the chips melt. Be sure to keep stirring while melting so they melt evenly.
After the chips are melted, turn off the heat and add your nuts. Keep
stirring and adding nuts until the liquid butterscotch has coated all the
nuts. If you leave too much liquid you will have more butterscotch clusters
with less nuts. Place spoonfuls on the cookie sheet the size you want.
(You don't need to butter the cookie sheet.) Then put the cookie sheets in
the freezer for about an hour. Then put them in a plastic bag or container
and keep frozen or refrigerated until you use them. Can be eaten frozen or thawed out. Will melt of course if left out on a hot day.
