Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1\2 c. sugar
1\2 c. shortening
1\2 package yeast
Dash of salt
6 c. flour, divided 3\3
2 c. warm water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar shortening, yeast and dash of salt. Add 3 c. flour and the 2 c. warm water. Mix well. Add remaining 3 c. flour, mix and knead dough until all flour well combined. Roll out dough on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray. (We use a large sheet that measures 18 x 14 inches. This recipe will make one of these size and another not quite as big. This will give you an idea how much dough this makes. It will depend on how thick or thin you like your crust.) Poke the crust with a fork several times to keep it from puffing up. Par bake the crust at 350º for 10 min (maybe longer if thick) or just till it gets a little brown. Top with your favorite toppings and put back in the oven and bake until toppings are heated through and cheese is melted to your liking.
