1 1\2 c. flour
1\3 c. sugar
1\4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 egg yolk, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp. cold water

Filling
1\4 c. butter
7 oz. Marshmallow creme
1\2 tsp. peppermint extract
1 Tbsp. milk

Tassie's
In medium bowl, stir together flour, sugar and cocoa powder. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until crumbly. In a small bowl combine egg yolk and water.. Stir gradually into flour mixture. Gently knead the dough until ball forms. Wrap in plastic. Chill 30-60 minutes. Divide the dough into 36 pieces & press on to bottom and up sides of small muffin tins. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes or until firm. Cool 5 minutes then remove from muffin tin and cool completely. Fill with prepared peppermint cream filling.

Filling
In large bowl, combine butter, marshmallow cream and extract. Beat with electric mixer until smooth. Gradually beat in 1 1\2 c. powdered sugar. Beat in milk. Using a Woden spoon, stir in another c. powdered sugar. If needed stir in additional milk to make piping consistency. Fill shells, sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy.
