1 c. of sugar
1/2 c. molasses
¼ c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. salt
1 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Add first 5 ingredients in a sauce pan.
Stir until sugar is almost dissolved.
Cover and bring slowly to boil.
Remove cover, boil rapidly, stirring constantly, until a small amount brittles in water.
Remove from heat & add butter.
Pour syrup in fine stream over 8 cups popped corn, tossing constantly with fork to coat all pieces evenly.

Grease hands slightly, working rapidly, form coated corn into balls, pressing only hard enough to make balls stick together.
