Ground meat any kind 1/2 kilo. (2 pounds)
2 slices dense white bread
2 onions minces in a grinder or finely chopped
2 eggs uncooked
Salt and pepper
Dry bread crumbs
Oil to fry in

Directions:

Soak the bread in water then squeeze the water out.
Put the ground meat in a mixing bowl
Add the soaked bread, onion, eggs, salt and pepper
Mix together well
Shape into patties
Coat with bread crumbs
Fry in oil until cooked through

This is one time I got an ingredient amount but, of course, it was in metric. So who did I ask?
Siri of course. 2 pounds seems like a lot of ground meat to me for the other ingredient but that's what she told me. It made me wonder if the ladies didn't give me ingredient amounts because they couldn't convert metric measurements to US measure amounts, but I don't think that was always the case. They just knew how much of what to use.
