2 pounds flank steak
Place in glass pan and poke holes in the meat all over with a fork
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground ginger
4 tablespoons dry vermouth
4 or 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped or pressed

Put meat into a large Ziploc bag. Combine all ingredients and distribute over meat evenly. Marinate for 24 hours.

Save marinade and brush over steaks. Grill 15-20 minutes on medium high. Scorch outside of steaks, but leave it red on the inside. Slice on a diagonal as thin as possible.

Serve with baked potatoes, Italian bread and a no fuss salad.
