1 lb hamburger
1/2 to 1 cup cooked rice
chopped onions
Salt and pepper
Any spices you like on hamburger
Flour to coat
Oil to fry

Directions:
Directions:
Put the hamburger in a bowl and add all the other ingredients except the flour and oil.
Mix everything together with your hands or a spoon
Make 4 to 5 patties. The Patties will be kind of soft. Use a spatula with open spaces like a fish spatula to move and turn the patties to coat both sides.
Coat the patties with flour.
Put enough cooking oil in a fry pan that covers the entire bottom of the pan with about a 1/8 inch layer of oil and put the pan on medium heat
Put the patties in the heated fry pan with cooking oil
Fry several minutes on one side until browned then turn to the other side and cook until done. Juices in the center of the meat will not be red or pink when they are done
