1 1/2 Tsp Butter
2 Cups Butter- Softened
2 Cups Sugar
1/3 Cup of Water
2 Tbs Light Corn Syrup
1 Pkg Milk Chocolate Chips (11.5 oz)
1 Cup of finely chopped almonds-toasted

Directions:
Directions:
Line the bottom and sides of a 15 inch x 10 Inch pan with foil.
Grease foil with 1 1/2 tsp of Butter. Set Aside.

In a large heavy sauce pan, melt remaining butter. Add sugar, water and corn syrup. Cook and stir over medium heat until a candy thermometer reads 290º (Soft crack stage).

Pour into prepared pan. Cool for 4 minutes, sprinkle with Chocolate chips, let stand for 3 minutes. Spread melted chocolate evenly over candy. Sprinkle with almonds and press down lightly. Cool until Chocolate is firm.

Break into Bite size pieces. Store in an air tight container. Makes about 1 pound.
