3 cups flour
1 tbsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour milk (milk with a splash of vinegar)
1 cup oil or apple sauce
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 5 ingredients together in large bowl then add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Stir to blend together then add 1 cup hot water over batter. Stir in until well blended. Pour into 11X17" baking pan. Bake at 350ºF for 30-40 minutes.
This recipe makes a large cake but can also be made into 12 cupcakes and a 9X13" cake.
