3 1/2 cups tart cherries, pitted
1/4 cup cherry juice or wine
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons tapioca
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup quick rolled oats
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup almonds, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix cherries, juice/wine, cornstarch, tapioca, and sugar.
Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes.
Mix oats, butter, almonds, brown sugar, and flour until it resembles crumbs.
Pour cherry mixture in the bottom of a greased pan and spread crumbs over mixture.
Bake for 20 minutes or until cherries are really bubbling.
