4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, cubed

Topping;
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup half and half
2 cups flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 9" x 13" pan.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla until pale yellow about 4 minutes.
In another bowl whisk together the dry ingredients. Then add to egg mixture, beating just until combined.
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter, stirring constantly and bringing to a boil.
Then pour into other ingredients in large bowl and beat until combined.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
Combine topping ingredients and spread over warm cake.
Broil 3-4 minutes (about 4" from heat) until golden brown.
