Ingredients:  
Sliced raw potatoes
Cream or 1/2 & 1/2, can use milk or canned milk in a pinch
Butter
Dried onions
Garlic salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat Oven to 350º

Slice raw potatoes into a lightly greased baking dish.
Pour cream or 1/2 & 1/2 over the spuds, until most of them are covered.
Sprinkle dried onions, garlic salt and pepper over the potatoes. Mix in a little.
Cover with tin foil and bake until potatoes are tender.
Remove the tin, cover with cheese and bake until cheese is melted.

Let sit before serving and it is actually better the 2nd day.

This recipe was given to me by Joyce Christensen while I was working at PMT. This was a staple Sunday dish for her family.

If you reduce the heat, you can let it cook while your at church.
Joyce always said it was better the 2nd day, so if you like leftovers, make a bigger panfull.
