1/2 lb. sliced bacon
2 chopped, medium-to-large sweet onions
3 to 4 c. peeled potatoes that have been cut into roughly 1/2" cubed
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 c. half-and-half or heavy whipping cream
4 c. canned clams with juice

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook the bacon over medium-high heat. After the bacon is cooked, drain off the grease and add the chopped onions. Cook over medium- high heat for approximately 5-mintues or until the color of the chopped onions is 'Transparent'

2. Drain the juice from the canned clams. Add the clam juice, potatoes, and pepper to the bacon and onions, and simmer until potatoes are tender, roughly 15 minutes

3. Add the clams to the mix and simmer for roughly 5 minutes

4.Add the cream and heat, but Don't allow to boil.
