1 medium head shredded cabbage
1/2 cup butter
1 (16oz) wide egg noodles
salt and pepper to taste
keilbasa is optional and can be cooked on the side.

Directions:
Soak shredded cabbage in salt water for 10-15 minutes, then ring out.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute cabbage until tender - a good 20 minutes or so. Watching and stirring as needed. Add more butter if needed.
While that is cooking, boil water, add some salt and cook the egg noodles.
Drain and add cabbage and noodles to serving bowl to combine.

*you can also fry up some sliced Polish Keilbasa until browned and add to dish.
