1 pound peppered, thick sliced bacon...
1/2 pound good milk chocolate...
1/4 pound sliced, roasted almonds...

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º...
Place bacon on a baking sheet tray that has been covered with parchment paper and cook bacon until crisp, about 25 minutes...
Put sliced almonds in a pan over medium heat and roast for a few minutes, just watch so you don't burn the almonds...
Set almonds aside...
Melt chocolate in a double broiler, adding 1 T butter once chocolate has melted, this needs to be done over low heat...
If chocolate is too thick add a t of water to thin...
Chocolate needs to be a creamy mixture...
Can add water as needed to thin it out...
Dip the crisp, cooled bacon in the chocolate and place back on a tray that is again covered in parchment paper...
Sprinkle with the almonds and place tray in refrigerator for at least 1 hour...
Serve as an appetizer or as a dessert with a port wine...
