1 1/2 lb round steak cut into cubes
1 c.flour
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
salt & pepper to taste
1c. shortening or oil
1 can beef broth
8 oz. sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
Dust meat in seasoned flour. Brown meat in shortening or oil. Add onion and beef broth (can be substituted for Cambell's Beefy onion soup). Simmer slowly for 1 hr. Add mushroom soup and sour cream.

Can be served over bread, noodles, rice or potatoes. We like wide egg noodles.

Soon after Donnie and I eloped, my sister Bobette gave us a shower, asking everyone to bring a recipe. This is one of the recipes that Lorraine brought that we really liked. It's 41 years old (for us) who says good things don't last.
