30 shucked oysters
milk
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion, finely grated
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
12 cups coarse saltine cracker crumbs
Green onion fans for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain oysters, reserving liquid. Add enough milk to reserved liquid to equal one cup. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and set aside. In a medium skillet, saute onion in butter. Remove from heat. Season with celery salt and pepper. Add cracker crumbs, tossing to coat.

Sprinkle one third of the crumb mixture in bottom of a buttered 8 x 1.5" round cake dish. Layer with half of the oysters. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of crumbs. Pour milk mixture evenly over top of casserole.

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes until crumbs are brown and center is hot. Garnish with green onion fans.
