Fresh or Frozen Fruit
2-3 slices of bread
1 stick butter/margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
In casserole dish place a layer of fruit (may be fresh or frozen) Will need to thaw frozen first
Cut crusts off bread and cut into 5 fingers
Layer the bread fingers on top of the fruit.
Melt 1 stick of margarine with 1 ½ cup sugar and 2 Tablespoons plain flour and 1 egg.
(Don’t bring to boil , just melt enough to pour.
Pour this mixture over the bread crusts.
*This order
Fruit----bread----mixture
*Bake 350* for 35-40 minutes or until brown
