2½ cups self-rising flour
1½ cup sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cocoa
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1½ cup cooking oil
2 eggs
1 bottle red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together dry ingredients. Add other ingredients in order and mix thoroughly. Bake in 3 greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
8 ounces cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients together, except nuts, and spread on cooled cake.
Sprinkle nuts on top and sides.
