10 medium sized apples, peeled and cored, cut up in pieces.

1 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/4 tsp cardamom
2 to 3 tbsp. honey

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in crock pot. Mix together water, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cardamom and honey with a wire whisk. Pour over apples. Cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Will keep for 2 weeks or longer in fridge.
