1 box Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust
6 cups peeled, thinly silced assorted apples
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
dash of salt
1-2 tsp fresh lemon juice
2 Tbls. butter, cut into several chunks

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425º. Line a 9-in pie plate with one of the pie crust and set aside.

Combine apples and honey tossing gently. Add in flour, spices, and salt. Stir well. Top with lemon juice and give a couple of gentle stirs.

Spoon filling into pastry shell and dot with butter chunks. Cover with top pie crust; slit in several places. Seal and flute edges. Cover edges with strips of foil to prevent over browning.

Bake at 425º for 40 minutes. Remove foil strips and bake additional 5 minutes.
