2- packages yeast
1-cup water
1-cup scalded milk
5- tsp. sugar
1- tsp salt
2 eggs beaten
6-tsp. shortening
6-cups flour
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water set aside. Add shortening to milk. Add sugar, eggs salt and 2 cups flour. Then add yeast, add flour until dough leaves side of bowl.

turn onto floured prep surface. Knead until dough squeaks. Let rise until doubled.
grease bowl punch down. roll out and cut with doughnut cutter. let rise. Fry in hot oil.
Add glaze mixture ontop after cooled
