This is essentially a sloppy joe but using venison instead of beef. You can either choose to use a pre-made bbq sauce or you can mimic Lori's Sloppy Joe's sauce. I used Lori's.

4 lbs venison steak
2 cups chopped onion
2 2/3 cups ketchup
8 tablespoons brown sugar
½ cup white vinegar
8 teas mustard
4 teas Worcheshire sauce
2 teas salt

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a crockpot. Cook for 8 hours.

After 8 hours take out the venison and shred the venison. Place back in pot.

Looking at your sauce you can decide if it needs a little bit of water. Add about 1/4 if it needs it.
