1/2 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can bouillon
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp. soya sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup slivered green pepper
1/4 tsp. salt and pepper
2 cups sliced mushrooms
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut steak 1/8” thick – 2” long. Brown in shortening. Stir in bouillon, 1/4 cup water, soya sauce and onions. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes. Stir in celery, pepper, salt, peppers and mushrooms. Simmer for 5 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
