4 cups sliced cooking apples (about 4 large)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 cup quick quaker oats (uncooked)
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 cup melted butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Place apples in a greased shallow 9 inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice, brown sugar, and water. Combine remaining dry ingredients. Add melted butter, mixing until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
