1 1/2 c. Jiff creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
3-4 c. powdered sugar
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 T. Crisco all vegetable shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Combine peanut butter, vanilla, butter, and salt in a large bowl. Beat with a mixer on low until blended. Add 2 c. powdered sugar, beat till blended. Add rest of sugar until mixture, when shaped into a ball, will stay on a toothpick. Shape into 1" balls. Refrigerate. Place chocolate chips and Crisco in microwave on medium for 30 seconds. Stir. Repeat until smooth. (Reheat as needed while using.) Insert toothpick into peanut butter ball. Dip 3/4 of ball into chocolate, leave top undipped. Place on wax paper. Remove toothpick. Smooth over holes. Refrigerate until firm and set.
