Cake:
1 3/4 c. unsifted all purpose flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. Hershey's Coco
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 c. boiling water

Frosting:
2 2/3 c. powdered sugar
2/3 c. butter, softened
2 oz. melted unsweetened chocolate (cool)*
3/4 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. milk

CAKE: Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients except the boiling water. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in water. Pour into 2 greased and floured round 9" layer cake pans. Bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes on a cooling rack, then remove from pans to cool completely. Ice when cool.

FROSTING: Beat powdered sugar, butter, chocolate and vanilla in a mixing bowl on low speed. Add milk gradually; beat until smooth and fluffy.

*1 bar (4 oz.) sweet cooking chocolate, melted and cooled, can be substituted for the unsweetened.
