1 lb ground beef
1 onion diced
1/2 c brown sugar
1/2 c catsup
1/2 teas salt
1/4 teas dry mustard
1 lg can kidney beans drained
2 cans B & M baked beans
1 T molasses
1 t sweet pickle relish
1/2 lb bacon cut in half slices
1 can butterbeans

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until almost done and remove to paper towels.
Saute onion 10 minutes in 1 T bacon fat and drain.
Brown the ground beef well.
Mix all ingredients and spoon into a casserole dish.
Cover and bake at 350º for 30 minutes, then uncovered for 30 more minutes.

This dish was served at every annual Bottemiller family reunion for as long as we can remember-at least 30 years! Mory and Julie had to times the recipe at least by ten and cook in a large turkey roaster to have enough for everyone.
