1 1/2 to 2 pound round steak
2 TBSP cooking oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove minced
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp ground giner
4 tomatoes cut in 1/8th or 1-16oz can tomatoes with liquid
2 large green peppers cut in strips
1/2 cup cold water
1 TBSP cornstarch

Directions:

1. Cut beef into 3 in.x1 in. strips and brown in oil.
2. Transfer to slow cooker.
3. Combine soy sauce, onion, garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and ginger and pour over beef.
4. Cover and cook on low for five to six hours or until meat is tender.
5. Add tomatoes and green pepper and cook on low for another hour.
6. Combine cold water and cornstarch to make a paste and stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened.
7. Serve over noodles or rice
