1 c. flour
1c. whole wheat flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. grated orange zest
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c cold butter
1/3 c milk
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped mandarin oranges, well drained

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, b. powder, orange zest,& salt. Cut in butter til crumbly. In a bowl, combine milk & egg, stir in dry ingred. Add oranges, turn onto a floured surface. Knead 10 times, pat into 6 inch circle. Sprinkle with Additional sugar. Cut into 8 wedges separate and put on greased pan. Bake 400for 15-20 min.

Orange butter to serve over scone.

1/2 c butter, softened with 1 Tbsp.orange marmrlade.
