1 cup butter
2 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs

ADD: 1 cup sour cream MIX
ADD: 1 TBSP baking soda MIX
ADD: 2 tsp vanilla MIX
ADD: 1 tsp salt MIX
ADD: gradually 5 cups flour

Chill over night OR at least 2 hours

KEEP WELL CHILLED
ROLL OUT SMALL BATCHES AT A TIME Not too thin (put a sheet over board and flour well) Use your choice of cutters.

Decorate with frosting etc
