4 Loaves Stale Bread (White)
1 dozen eggs
3/4 stalk of celery (diced)
1 Lg onion
1/2 lb butter
3 1/2 Tbs sage
1/2 cup chicken base (Paste in jar)
2 quarts water (warm)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown onion and celery in butter. Dissolve chicken base in water.
Combine bread and eggs together. Add onion and celery. Pour chicken base mixture over. Mix. Should be soupy before you put in crock pot.

-Bread is regular size, not sandwich.
- Fill Crock pot only 3/4 full as it expands
-If you like a crust around edges do not stir
-If you like soft stuffing stir occasionally

Cook four hours in crock pot on high. When bubbles around edges turn on low for 1-1 1/2 hour

-In a hurry, heat in microwave until hot, put in crock pot on low for 1-1 1/2 hours.
